GLI Chapter Application

This application is for students or teachers who want to use the GLI Guidebook (curriculum) to institute a human rights educational club in their middle school, high school or community group.     Each GLI Chapter belongs to one of six regional areas. The New York, DC, LA and San Fran Bay regional areas hold some in person meetings & trainings. If you live too far from one of the metro regional areas and can't travel to a local meeting about once every other month (on a weekend) throughout the school year, we recommend joining the Eastern or Western region which hold meetings by webinar only.
  • SECTION 4: Faculty or Adult Advisor Information (Required for Student Applicants)
  • Each Chapter is required to have a Faculty or Adult Advisor. We assume that applicants who are faculty members or nonprofit staff will advise their own Chapters. If you are applying as a student, we will contact the Faculty Advisor you list when we receive your application to be sure they’ve agreed to serve in this role if your application is selected. If you are a student, a faculty member, or nonprofit staff who will not lead your own Chapter, please provide the following Chapter Faculty Advisor information:
